Veken Technology Obtains 3C Certification Under New National Standard for Portable Power Banks, Achieving Another Safety Upgrade

July 23, 2026 – The lithium-ion polymer battery cell model 516578PY, independently developed and manufactured by Dongguan Veken Battery Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Veken Technology Co., Ltd., has successfully passed the full range of rigorous tests under the new GB 47372-2026 national standard for portable power banks and has officially obtained the mandatory 3C certification for lithium-ion batteries used in portable power banks, issued by the China Quality Certification Centre (CQC). This marks the company's official entry permit for sales in the power bank market.

The certified cell meets both GB 31241-2022 and GB 47372-2026 national standards, making it compatible with mainstream portable fast-charging power bank products. The certification was conducted in strict accordance with the latest implementation rules CNCA-C09-02:2026, with the factory's production quality assurance system, cell electrical safety performance, thermal stability, and cycle life all passing authoritative verification. The certificate is valid until July 2031.

With the implementation of the new national standard for portable power banks, terminal brands have significantly raised their compliance requirements for upstream cell suppliers. Cells without the corresponding Category 0916 3C certificate will gradually be phased out of the supply chain. Leveraging its long-standing expertise in lithium-ion cell R&D and manufacturing, Veken Technology's successful certification — built on mature cell design, material selection, and process control capabilities — enables the company to provide downstream power bank manufacturers with compliant, traceable, and quality-assured cell supplies, helping customers mitigate certification and inspection compliance risks while shortening new product launch cycles.

Going forward, Veken Technology will continue to pursue new national standard certification for more mainstream cell sizes, expanding its compliant cell portfolio, and working hand in hand with power supply brand partners to build a safe and reliable energy storage supply chain.
